Hello everyone!
My name is Heike, 23-years old. Living together with my boyfriend and my furry baby, Maurice, in Ghent - Belgium.
I graduated from art school in 2015, and have my degree in fine arts.
After graduating it took me a very long time to get back on track with drawing and painting, but luckily I recently found back my motivation. When I'm working in my sketchbook, I use all kinds of materials (pencils, pens, watercolor, gouache,..). I just really like the outcome of colors and textures when using different materials in one work.
Museums, nature, books,.. are the biggest sources of inspiration to me. I try to spend most of my days being creative, even if it's just for an hour. It gives me a relaxed feeling.

I've started blogging about three years ago. Expressing my feelings through writing, making art, and creating my own platform, is very important to me. I've been through a lot these past few years and having this blog helps me to keep my head clear and hopefully it will help some of you.
