About beauty

"A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely." - Roald Dahl

Is beauty about feeling comfortable in your own skin? About confidence? About how you look on the outside? About loving yourself? Whether we're talking about beauty from the inside or outside, I think it's about accepting who you are and knowing what qualities you're having.

Beauty is more than just something you can see. Even more important is that you need to feel it. It's about being proud of the person you are, who you have become. About being brave enough to reflect on your life and allowing yourself to change. About admitting mistakes, but most of all to learn from it. About treating people in the way you want to get treated. About coming out stronger and happier at the end of a rough period, or don't give up when something goes wrong.

Beauty towards other people depends on how they act or what kind of energy they give fourth. I see beauty in people who respect others. Who aren't judging others for their past, but supports them to grow and learn. Who keep fighting, even if giving up is the fastest and easiest way. Who are brave enough to admit that they aren't feeling good and search for help.

This is my own personal meaning and could be different drom yours, which is totally fine. What is beauty for you?
